Premier Lounge membership and privacy
The Premier Lounge is Durmah Learning Pte Ltd's independent community for UK law students aged 18 and over. Joining is optional. Your private study tools do not require Lounge membership or university email verification.
Who can join
Use your actual name, select the UK university you currently attend and accurately declare that you study law there. Verify access to your own university email inbox using the code we send, then agree to these rules and to showing your name and university to admitted members. Do not use another person's inbox, a shared mailbox, an alias intended to conceal your identity or an institution you do not attend.
A successful email check confirms control of that mailbox at the time of verification. It does not verify legal identity, current enrolment, age, a law qualification or university endorsement. Staff and graduates may also have university email accounts. Do not describe another member as identity-verified merely because they belong to the Lounge.
Successful verification is saved for later logins. Changes to your name or university, withdrawal, suspension or loss of eligibility can require a fresh check. Tell us when you leave your university or lose access to the address. Do not continue to claim current student status after it ends. If your institution's email domain is not yet supported, contact admin@durmah.ai; your private study access is unaffected.
Community conduct and moderation
- Be respectful. No harassment, discrimination, threats, stalking, impersonation, scams, sexual exploitation, sexual content or encouragement of self-harm or violence.
- Do not publish private contact details, sensitive personal information, confidential material or another person's work without permission. Do not share assessment answers, solicit cheating or infringe copyright.
- Keep discussions respectful and suitable for a student community, including study, everyday interests, wellbeing breaks and professional connections. No unsolicited advertising, recruitment schemes or requests for money.
- Use the report and block controls if something is wrong. Do not retaliate against someone who reports a concern.
Members can post short text discussions and replies in shared conversation rooms, react to contributions and request a connection. A connection is mutual only after the recipient accepts. Coffee corner is a text conversation space, not a hosted video call or a scheduled event. Do not imply that another member has agreed to meet simply because they post there. Media uploads are not part of this Lounge release.
Accepting a connection enables one-to-one text messaging between you. You can decline a request, remove a connection, block a person or report a message. Removing or blocking ends messaging access; reconnecting requires a new accepted request. The same conduct rules apply in messages. Do not send confidential information, assessment answers, payment requests or another person's personal information.
Durmah may hide content, suspend membership and review reports. We assess context and may restore content or access if a decision was mistaken. Email admin@durmah.ai to report a concern, complain about a decision or request a review; include the relevant post or circumstances, without unnecessary sensitive information. Moderation is not continuously staffed and cannot guarantee that every harmful message is prevented. For an immediate danger, contact emergency services.
What members and Durmah can see
Joining makes your declared name, university and contributions visible to other admitted members. Other members do not see your university email address. Your private study files, assignments, lecture notes and Durmah study memory are not published to the Lounge. Members can still copy what they can see, so share thoughtfully.
Reactions are used to show a contribution's current reaction totals; we do not publish a list of people who reacted. Connection requests and their status are visible to the people involved, not a public friendship graph. Blocking a member hides their community contributions and removes your connection; unblocking does not automatically reconnect you. The Unwind appearance, timer and optional generated sound run on your device and do not create a mood or wellbeing record in your account. Sound starts only when you choose it.
Direct messages are restricted to the two participants in the member interface. They are stored by Durmah and its service providers, are not end-to-end encrypted, and can be copied by their recipient. If a message is reported, the reported message and concern are available to authorised moderators. The moderation interface does not provide general access to members' inboxes. Necessary security or data-rights investigations can require restricted operational access. Deleting a message hides it from the conversation, but necessary complaint evidence can be retained for review. Your own message history and available received messages can be requested through My data and privacy.
Durmah records your account, verified email address, verification time, university, declared name, agreement version, membership status and most recent successful Lounge access to administer admission and prevent misuse. Authorised administrators can see membership and access status for support and moderation. This is not a record of every page you read or private study activity. Verification codes are stored as protected digests, expire after 15 minutes and are limited in attempts and requests. Our email provider processes the address and verification message to deliver it. We never ask for your university password and do not use this verification request as marketing consent.
We process these admission and security records for our legitimate interests in operating a trustworthy community and protecting members. We use your explicit choice to join and display your profile for the optional member directory. Reports, blocks and moderation records support safety, complaint handling and accountability. Authorised administrators may review those records; reporting does not make your report public.
You can withdraw from the Lounge without closing your private study account. Withdrawal hides your Lounge profile and contributions from members and removes the active email proof and sharing agreement. It is not an automatic deletion of every contribution or safety record. Use My data and privacy or contact us for access, correction, objection or deletion requests. Necessary complaint and safety records may need separate review before deletion. Active private study memory continues under the account's own retention arrangements.
Our Privacy Policy explains the Singapore operator, international processing, providers and your rights. These community rules supplement the Terms of Use. Durmah is not affiliated with or endorsed by any university.
