The tools that follow you around
Four things are available on every page once you are signed in — and one of them deliberately disappears while you are writing.
| Tool | How to open it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Durmah | The launcher at the bottom right | Text chat and voice, aware of the page you are on. |
| Share Feedback | The lightbulb button | Sends straight to the product team. Use it liberally. |
| Lexicon search | Cmd+K or Ctrl+K | Look up a legal term from anywhere without losing your place. |
| Quiz Me | From My Tools, or the dashboard card | Start a quiz over a lecture, module, assignment or week. |
On focused writing surfaces — inside the assignment workflow editor, on Mark My Paper, and on the writing hub — the launcher and the feedback button hide themselves. This is deliberate: when you are writing, nothing floats over your text. Chat is still available, embedded in the page where it belongs.
If you leave mid-task, a small pill appears near the top of the page offering to return you to the work page you last used. Handy when a seminar interrupts you halfway through a draft.

Talking to Durmah in text
How Durmah answers, what it knows about your studies already, and how to read the source note on every legal answer.
The Durmah Lexicon™
Legal vocabulary is not decoration — it is the medium. The Lexicon is a spaced-recall system for the words your own lectures actually used.
Getting help
Where to go when the manual has not answered your question — and what to include so it gets fixed quickly.
Still stuck?
Ask Durmah — it knows this manual and can point you to the right section. If the manual itself is wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us and we will fix it. Documentation errors are treated as product bugs.
Durmah is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university. Everything in this manual describes study support for legal education. It is not legal advice. Where this manual and your module handbook disagree, your module handbook is authoritative.
