Signing in and verifying your university email
Durmah student accounts use Google sign-in — there is no password to forget. You verify your official university email once, with a short code.
Signing in for the first time:
- 1Go to the sign-in page, or straight to your university's sign-in page.
- 2If Durmah does not already know your university, choose it from the list. This sets your academic context, so pick carefully.
- 3Select Continue with Google. You will always be offered an account chooser, so you can pick the right Google account if you have several.
- 4Verify your official university email. Durmah emails you a short numeric code; enter it to confirm.
- 5Choose your year of study.
Your Google account and your university email are separate things. You sign in with Google; you verify with your university address. The verification happens once and then never again — there is no auto-pairing, even if your Google account already uses your university address.
If something goes wrong
- The code has not arrived — check your spam folder, confirm the address is typed correctly, wait a moment and request a new one.
- The code has expired — request a fresh one from the same screen.
- You are told your email belongs to a different university — Durmah will link you to the correct sign-in page. Follow it.
- You picked the wrong university — sign out, then sign in again from the correct university's sign-in page.
Because sign-in runs through Google, there is no Durmah password to create, forget or have stolen. If you lose access to your Google account, contact support rather than creating a second Durmah account.
