Common questions

The questions students ask most in their first week, answered directly.

QuestionAnswer
Do I need a credit card to try Durmah? No. No payment method is collected for the trial and you are never charged automatically.
Which universities are supported?Durham is the flagship with a live curriculum pack. Oxford and Cambridge are live with expanding depth. Further UK law schools are on the published roadmap.
Will Durmah write my coursework for me?No, and it is built to refuse. It will help you understand the question, structure the argument, find authority and improve your own draft — but the words you hand in have to be yours.
Will Durmah tell me what grade I will get?No. Feedback is diagnostic, with no predicted mark or classification. Your result depends on your university's rubric, your marker and your final submitted work.
Is my work private?Your essays, notes and feedback stay tied to your study account. Raw voice audio is never stored. You can request deletion at any time.
Do I need a password? No. Sign-in runs through Google, so there is no Durmah password to create or forget.
What if my transcript is short or my file will not upload?Durmah tells you exactly what is wrong and what to do instead. Short transcripts are flagged rather than analysed unreliably.
Is Durmah affiliated with my university? No. It is an independent platform. Where Durmah and your module handbook disagree, your handbook wins.

Still stuck?

Ask Durmah — it knows this manual and can point you to the right section. If the manual itself is wrong, out of date or unclear, tell us and we will fix it. Documentation errors are treated as product bugs.

Durmah is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university. Everything in this manual describes study support for legal education. It is not legal advice. Where this manual and your module handbook disagree, your module handbook is authoritative.
