Durmah Legal Studies

About Durmah

Independent study support for law students.

Learn law. Develop your judgment. Keep your work your own. Durmah is built around the everyday work of a law student: understanding concepts, reading authorities, testing arguments, managing time and reflecting on progress.

A tutor's approach to learning

Our aim is to help students ask better questions and explain why an argument works. A useful study assistant supports that effort through structure and reflection. It does not replace teaching, decide what an assessment permits or promise better grades.

Students remain in control

You choose your goals and whether to use the service. The independent writing workspace accepts your own reasoning and source notes without requiring a university email. You can download your work. Optional support should strengthen your independence and respect your decision to stop.

What is available

The writing workspace, source notes and downloads are available without a purchase. External AI, new academic uploads and new purchases are paused while the necessary reviews are completed. Voice and wellbeing AI are not currently offered. Existing members retain saved-work access and account controls. Read current availability.

Independent from universities

Durmah Learning Pte Ltd is registered in Singapore and operates Durmah independently. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to any university. A university name indicates a study audience or context; it is not a partnership or confirmation of syllabus coverage.

Responsible development that can be examined

We explain how student rights, copyright, institutional rules and privacy affect our design in Responsible study & student rights. We distinguish what works today from what is still under review. Students, educators and rights holders can use that page to examine our sources and raise concerns.
