Terms of Use
By accessing or using the Durmah platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Current AI use limits
External AI, new academic uploads and new purchases are paused pending review. The independent writing workspace is also currently closed. Do not enter assessed work or material whose permission is unclear. Institutional rules apply to planning, feedback and editing as well as final text. Authorship or disclosure alone does not grant permission. Read the AI Usage Policy before proceeding.
Your materials and our limited permission
You retain the rights you hold. To the extent you have authority to do so, submitting material authorises only the storage, reproduction and processing needed for your requested feature and its necessary support, security and administration. It does not authorise publication, sale, shared course-pack creation, model training or fine-tuning, shared training or evaluation datasets, or using your private material to answer another student. You cannot grant rights that belong to someone else. The Student Content Policy explains this permission and our current upload restrictions; the Privacy Policy explains provider access, retention and deletion.
Applicable statutory copyright exceptions remain relevant. Our upload safeguards are not a declaration that all unlicensed private study is unlawful. Read Responsible study & student rights and current service availability.
1. Eligibility
The independent writing workspace is intended for law students from any university. Specific features have their own availability and eligibility conditions. An institution name identifies study context only and does not imply its authorisation or endorsement.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your login.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to engage in academic misconduct using AI-generated content.
4. University Affiliation Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Durmah is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to your university. This platform is an independent academic support tool created for educational enrichment purposes only.
