Durmah's purpose is to support understanding and judgment. It does not promise grades, write assignments or replace a university tutor.
Understand what legal study demands
Progress is not always visible in the number of pages read. A student may spend an hour untangling a short judgment or revising one difficult paragraph. That careful work can be central to learning.
Ask what they understand better, what remains uncertain and what support they want. Avoid treating every difficulty as a performance problem.
- Ask about the process“What was the most interesting question this week?” can start a better conversation than asking for a mark.
- Support workable routinesEncourage realistic time plans, rest and use of the institution’s support services.
- Leave ownership with the studentThey choose their learning goals, write their work and decide when to ask a tutor for help.
- Respect privacyDo not assume access to a student’s records, writing or account information.
